Hindu dharmic campaign for youth

Vishakha Sarad Peetham Pontiff Sri Sri Sri Swaroopananda Saraswathi Mahaswami has urged TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy to undertake a Hindu Dharmic campaign to enthuse youth in dharmic activities and devotional culture.

Pontiff’s message came when TTD chairman along with his spouse called on later on Tuesday at Rishikesh where he sought blessings after felicitating with Srivari Thirtha Prasadams and shawl.

Speaking on the occasion the pontiff advised TTD chairman to develop footpaths to Tirumala as protected zones for both wild animals and Srivari devotees. Among others the pontiff asked TTD chairman to fill up vacancies of Veda Parayanadars in TTD, and to promote the extended Sanatana Hindu Dharma campaign through HDPP in a big manner.

Thereafter the Pontiff and his successor Sri Swatmananda Swamy felicitated the TTD chairman couple and offered blessings.

The 206th death anniversary of renowned saint poetess Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamva will be observed in Tirupati and at Tarigonda in a big way by TTD on August 24 and 25.

Several literary and devotional cultural fetes are organised by TTD on the occasion besides garlanding the statue of the great devotee of Sri Venkateswara at MR Palle circle on August 25.

The new system named Balaji Baggage Management System(BBMS) has been developed for easy deposit and faster retrieval of luggage and mobile phones of devotees coming for Srivari Darshan.

The EO said some devotees carried mobile phones hiding in their pockets while going for darshan in view of delay in deposit process. But now the new system has addressed the problem with more finesse and transparency to the satisfaction of devotees”, he maintained.
