Hijras along with their families reached Medaram when Sammakka Saralamma’s fair started
By performing special pujas to the nymphs, Sammakka mother invokes you and dances with the family members Ammwars are set up with clay around the shoes and offerings of gold (jaggery) and liquor are made.
chicken, sheep and goats are being sacrificed for the Ammas here. Liquor is also flowing like anything.
On the occasion of Sammakka’s arrival from Chilakala Gutta, put colorful muggles (patnalas) along the way Ammavars are welcome. After reaching Sammakka’s mother’s fields, he lost rice and gold
(Jaggery) and coconuts are offered, thus performing pujas to the nymphs in the Medaram fair.
They deeply believe that their desires will be fulfilled due to this.
Today CM Revanth and ministers visited the Medaram Jathara and worshipped ammavarus here. Jaggery was offered as Tulabharam with CM in the weighing bridge.
CM said that the jaggery for Ammas can be offered online. All our efforts are being made to fulfill the aspirations of the people he said. He opined that Sammakka Sarallma would further develop the state of Telangana in a big way.
