On 29.08.2024 at around 07:30 Hours, Telangana DISCOMs have met a Peak Demand of 15573 MW which is the highest demand met during 2024-2025 which is 5.11% higher than previous year demand of 14816 MW during the same period.
The previous all time highest Peak Demand met is 15623 MW on 08.03.2024 at around 10:00 Hrs & highest Energy of 308.54 MU was supplied on 14.03.2024.
Average Energy supplied during August 2024 till date – 266.14 MU which is 6.35% more than the average Energy supplied 250.25 MW during August 2023 same period.
However, DISCOMs are prepared to meet further increase in demand upto 17000 MW during Peak Khariff Season (Sept & Oct) and ensure satisfactory power supply to Agriculture and all other category of Consumers.
Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka congratulated all Power utilities in ensuring
satisfactory power supply in the State.
