Dhanush the Asuran hero is a very disappointed man. He has been waiting for the last year to release a movie called Jagame Thandiram.
But the Covid conditions have spoiled his plans for a long time. Last year during the Corona conditions he made tonnes of money with his movies in the theatres.
People came in large numbers to see Dhanush on the silver screen ignoring the Corona wave. But now he could not succeed in releasing the movies.
In some places, the theatres are closed. Some are running with just 50 per cent occupancy. The second wave of coronavirus has meant that there is uncertainty on when halls will reopen in the country.
This has caused uncertainty. We do not know when the conditions will become normal.
While the decision to release Dhanush’s Jagame Thandiram on Netflix was taken in February, the official date is out now.
Netflix took to social media to say that Jagame Thandiram is coming on June 18, 2021.
The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj who has made films like Petta, Pizza and Jigarthanda.
In the movie Jagame, he plays a romantic gangster called Suruli. The film is very close to the filmmaker’s heart who says it has a global message despite the desi flavour.
