Telangana is recording heavy sales of Liquor and also Mutton -chicken. People crave daawat with Mutton Chicken and also liquor in the districts of Telangana.
The other state which has the highest sale of liquor is Andhra Pradesh. But the sale is only in cash with a variety of brands and names. All the liquor is not authentic.
There was huge demand for the auction of liquor shops in Telangana which concluded recently. The Government received around Rs26OO crore in revenue with the auction of shops across Telangana.
The most sought-after location was Saroornagar, for which there were 10,908 applications for 134 liquor shops.
This was followed by Shamshabad, with 10,811 applications for 100 shops, Khammam, with 7,207 applications for 122 shops, Nalgonda, with 7,058 applications for 155 shops, Medchal, with 7,017 applications for 114 shops, Malkajgiri, with 6,722 applications for 88 shops, Sangareddy, with 6,156 applications for 101 shops, Warangal Urban, with 5,858 applications for 65 shops, Suryapet, with 4,338 applications for 99 shops, Siddipet, with 4,166 applications for 93 shops, and Karimnagar, with 4,040 applications for 94 shops.
The Telangana government is gearing up for selling branded mutton soon. In a meeting with the department officials, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav discussed the matter and suggested to them that the Government must sell branded mutton of good quality soon.
When it is festival time, there are heavy sales of liquor and Chicken -Mutton in Telangana. The liquor prices are less in Telangana when compared to Andhra.
