TTD these days is attracting huge crowds. Daily around fifty to sixty thousand pilgrims are getting the darshan of Lord Balaji. The Board members are warning the pilgrims to postpone the journey as they are unable to control the pilgrims.
The income is also going up on a daily basis for the TTD. But the facilities for the pilgrims are not improving. There is always a scarcity of rooms.
The free meals in the name of Prasadam is not good. Money makes many things on the TTD. The cottage repairs have been going on for a long time.
In the name of the plastic ban, the water glass bottles are very costly on the hill shrine. Despite all these issues, the pilgrims continue to rush for Lord Balaji’s Darshan.
The online system of selling tickets for the Lord’s Darshan continues. The commercial values are going up and the religious values are coming down on TTD.
Ministers are taking hundreds of followers for the Darshan. There is non to stop them. Allowing people with tickets only for darshan was a good practice.
Let us hope they will improve the amenities for the pilgrims in the near future.
