Heavy rain warning for Telangana -Orange alert

The IMD director Hyderabad has warned that there will be heavy to heavy rains for the next three days in the state of Telangana. The districts are drenched with rainwater.

An Orange warning was given by the IMD for the next twenty-four hours and then a yellow warning for some districts for the next two days. Like last night we might have heavy rain this night also in Hyderabad.

It is better not to venture out this evening or nighttime in Hyderabad. The traffic is in trouble with snarls across the city due to rainwater. All the drains in Hyderabad are overflowing with rainwater.

Heavy rainfall was recorded in Vikarabad and also the Rangareddy district. Some schools have been closed in the districts and school children in the city have also bunked the schools due to the rains.

The GHMC staff is having a tough time clearing the drains to send the storm water into them and clear the blockades on the main roads. All the low-lying areas are filled with water.

The Chief Minister KCR is Delhi with a political agenda and KTR the Minister for Municipal administration is taking a rest as he has injured his ankle.

Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar is looking into the issue of heavy rains. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav is busy with the Bonalu Jatara. The MLAs are attending to the issues here and there. But there is no respite from the rain in City.
