The election commission of India has notified for the Assembly elections in Maharashtra and Harayana states. Haryana has 90 Assembly seats while Maharashtra has 288 seats in all.
The term of the Maharashtra assembly will end on November 9. It may be noted that Prime Minister Modi has already sounded the poll bugle from Maharashtra. Maharashtra has 8.94 crore voters in all. Haryana has 1.28 crore voters.
The Haryana term ends on November 2. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Fadnavis is sure of a big win here. The47 BJP and Shivsena have more than 200 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly.
The BJP has 47seats in the Haryana Assembly. 4th October last date for filing nominations. The elections will be held in a single phase. Polling will be on 21st October and the results will be on 24th October.
The notification will be released on 27nth September. The nomination will be scrutinised on October 5th. The withdrawals can be done by October 7nth.
