There is no chance in the attitude of Harish Rao even after taking over as the Finance Minister. Harish participated in one of the villages of Gajwel in cleaning up the debris and other things. Speaking in a public meeting he advised the people to come for sanitation work on every Sunday in all the villages.
Keeping the villages clean is also our responsibility he said. With clean sanitation we can be healthy and also wealthy he opined. harish Rao carried mud and dumped the same in the tractor. He also drove the tractor and worked as a common man. He never behaved like a Minister. He motivated the villagers as part of a 30-day program for the clean and green environment in the villages.
The villages must be clean he suggested. It may be noted that K Chandrasekhar Rao the Chief Minister has given a call to see that the villages are kept clean in next 30 days time. Harish has suggested that the people must plant Tulasi and neem saplings so that they keep the environment clean and pollution-free. He said that the Government would supply the Neem and Tulasi saplings to the villagers. Both Tulasi and Neem have medicinal values.
Many villagers and also officials participated in the sanitation program along with Harish Rao today. They agreed to clean the villages on Sundays and assured that they would keep the surroundings clean. Harish Rao was leading from the front and the people followed him. It was very interesting to see the Finance Minister of a state participate in the real sanitation program.
