Minister for Finance from Telangana did not go to Delhi to attend the state Finance Minister meet with Central Finance Minister Nirmala Sitha Raman.
This is an exercise for the coming budget pertaining to 2023-24.
Harish was seen at Pragathi Bhavan in a meeting with CM KCR this morning. Earlier Harish pointed out that the state has lost revenue to the tune of around 40000 crore due to the lop-sided and partisan attitude of the central Government.
The State Ministers in Telangana are planning to expose the partisan attitude of the center in the coming Assembly to be held in December. The KCR Government has been taking loans to the extent under the limits of the FRBM. The state is also paying the interest on time and there is no issue with the banks.
The state of Telangana was having excess Revenues but after spending on development works the state is on the brink of taking loans for survival from time to time.
The state has been selling lands to fill the coffers from time to time. The center is also not doing well when it comes to finances after the Corona time when some businesses collapsed.
Now IT companies are also expecting a slowdown again in the near future. They are removing the jobs in a phased manner. This can be called the election budget for the Centre and also the Telangana state.
There is a chance that the state might go for a snap poll in December after the Assembly session.
