The Chairman of Parliamentary Standing committee on Railways Radha Mohan Singh today complimented TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar for taking up the green India Challenge.
Radha Mohan opined that it was a good program to protect the environment from pollution and keep the climate clean and green. He along with the other members of the Railways standing committee planted saplings here.
Santosh the man behind the Green India Challenge explained the concept to the Chairman and the members. So far around 5 crore saplings have been planted by various sections of the people.
The concept has become not only popular in Hyderabad, but also in Telangana, India and also abroad. The Program was held at IRISET in Tarnaka. The saplings were planted in the premises of IRISET and the members complimented Santosh Kumar.
They opined that the people from all walks of life must support the cause of climate and protect the environment from pollution.
