Minister for IT Sreedhar Babu released handbook of MSME Schemes as it was noticed that there are many schemes but MSMEs are not aware. Further the book was also intended to help MSMEs choose the right scheme as they will have information of all schemes at one place. The book also gives information on the eligibility, objectives, implementing agency and the procedure to apply.
The Honorable Minister gave instructions on implementation of the MSME Policy that was unveiled recently by the Honorable Chief Minister. He wanted the scheme to reach the targeted beneficiaries.
The Scheme he said should also reach weaker sections including Women as intended by the Policy and he wanted to see many Dalit and Women entrepreneurs.
Discussions on coordinated implementation of MSME Schemes was also an important agenda. The central and State MSME Agencies shared details and activities of each other for a synchronized approach so that there is no duplication and there will be better implementation of the Schemes. This way, they felt all the agencies can get better results and have bigger impact on MSME Community.He also gave directions for successful implementation of Bank Schemes like MUDRA and CGTMSE.
He wanted PM VISHWAKARMA where BCs are the prime beneficiaries should be implemented across the State . Review of RAMP Scheme intended to support MSMEs was also taken up.
MSME Support schemes with assistance from JICA were also discussed.
Activities of Industries Department were reviewed and instructions given on proper implementation.Measures to be taken to improve Clusters in the State and efficiently tap funds from Government of India.
The Department should contribute to the best by working proactively to contribute to the State in achieving 1 Trillion Economy.
