The traditional Open House regularly held every year at Raj Bhavan, here, on the January 1 st as part of the New Year celebrations has been cancelled this year.
People were allowed to greet Governor and had photographs in the earlier times. But now that is stopped to prevent Corona. The cancellation of the Open House this year was part of the adherence to the Covid-19 preventive measures.
Instead the Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan will accept the greetings and wishes and interacts with the people through the Phone-In.
Those who wish to greet the Governor on the occasion can dial the landline (040-23310521) between 10:00 am and 11:00 am on January 1 (Friday).
