It is said that if you plant a tree, you plant hope. Green India challenge is a program initated by MP Santosh Kumar to encourage green plantation. As per the programme, one person gives challenge to three people for plantation of trees. The people who accept and complete gives challenge to three more people individually. So the chain challenge and greenery keeps on continuing making mother earth greener and beautiful. As per there program the respected collector smt. Anita Ramachandran challenged the Director, Dr.Vikas Bhatia of renowed All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Bibinagar (Near Hydearbad).

The Director, Dr.Vikas Bhatia happily accepted the challenge and conducted a green plantation program with faculty and staff of the Institute. Total 30 saplings were planted in this program. In his address, the Director nominated three more people for plantation a part of challenge to continue the green chain to Dr.Alka Bhingardeo, Green campus coordinator AIIMS,Bibinagar, Dr.K Govind Prof & Head Dept Of Community & family Medicine, & K.B.R. Deepti Manager (Civil).

Dr.Vikas Bhatia has conducted so many green plantation program in the institute and planted 600 plants in the campus till now and has the target of 20,000 plants. Respected Director in his address also added that greenery is important in reducing pollution and saving the matter the mother earth and asked all people to promote to come forward and join the challenge.
