Tirumala Tirupathi devasthanma Chairman Chedlavada Krishnamuthy today proposed that Cow puja along with calf should be done in front of the TTD Temple for about an hour with Harathi and the pilgrims should be allowed to watch it. He was speaking at the at Dharma Parishad seva here at the TTD.
He said that as mentioned in the vedas the cow should get the top priority in the sevas and for creating awareness in the society and for the Balaji pilgrims the Govu seva should be done in front of the TTD Balaji temple premises and the pilgrims will see it and spread the message. This must happen in all the temples he opined.
Chedalava Krishnamurthy has mentioned that he has moved the resolution officially for the Govu seva in the board meeting of theTTD and that all the members must approve it so that it becomes a regular ritual of the TTD. The members of the Hindu Dharmika Sadassu also agreed on this suggestion.
PVRK Prasad who was presiding over the meeting said that a common account should be created where the people will contribute for the parishad for the propagation of the Hindu dharma. The Hindu Dharmika sadassu should help all the temples in creating awareness on the Hindu Dharma he said.
The EO of TTD said that crores of money was being spent for the development of temples and also construction of the temples here in the Telugu states. The endowments commissioner Anuradha said that a lot has to done for the awareness and publicity of Dharmika sadassu.
