Govt orders closure of cracker shops

Following the High Court orders the Telangana government has suggested that the cracker shops should be closed with immediate effect. It may be noted that the court has directed the Government to close the cracker shops.

This is to protect the environemtn and also the helath of the people in general. The Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and some other Governments have already imposed ban on crackers.

The Delhi atmosphere is already surrounded with pollutionand they do not want to spoil it further. Now the latest is the Telanganga Government. The DGP, the district collectors have orered the administration to close the cracker shops.

On the other hand the members of the cracker shops association have met last night and requested the Government to protect their interest. They would be losign around Rs 200 crore in all due to the ban on crackers.

Prime Minister Modi has also suggested the people of the country to light Diyas and celebrate Diwali. He also suggested that they must buy Diyas from the local artisans and not the imported ones.

We have to see how far the people will implement the ban on crackers. The Business men have already brought in stocks and have decked up for selling the crackers.

But the court yesterday ordered for the ban and closure of the shops.
