The State Government is looking at all the alternatives to see that the common man is not troubled due to the ongoing RTC strike. The cabinet meeting proposed for Saturday will have RTC as the main agenda.
The officials are concentrating on getting new routes and services for public transport. K Chandrasekhar Rao will preside over the Cabinet meeting and would take a firm decision on the ongoings of the RTC strike here in Telangana.
The Government clarified that it would not merge the RTC into the Government. But the RTC JAC wants the Government to merge the RTC and it is the main demand. Over a dozen employees have died so far due to various reasons.
The BJP is behind the RTC strike some the TRS leaders alleged. But the Congress is also actively supporting the RTC strike. KCR has said that the employees have dismissed themselves on their own.
This argument of the Chief Minister KCR on the dismissal will not stand in the court of law. Except for one employee, no one tried to join the services. All are agitating under the leadership of JAC.
It is time that the Government takes the right decision at this juncture and win the employees back.
