Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan heaped praises on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in her address to the joint session of the Telangana legislature, on the opening day of the budget session of the Assembly today.
In a speech dedicated to acclaiming the TRS government and its leader KCR, she heaped praises on the development. Tamilisai hinted that this year the budget would be around 2 lakh crore.
She said that the biggest advantage for Telangana was the CM himself who first led the separate statehood movement and then became the Chief Minister of the newly-formed state.
She added that KCR was leading the state from the front and taking it on a path of progress and development. She also praised the way the Covid conditions have been managed and the improvement in the financial conditions.
She said that the leader KCR has re- written in terms of all round development in the state in all the sectors.
“The Telangana region and society, which were destroyed in all sectors during the united Andhra Pradesh rule, now, under the visionary and dynamic leadership of its Chief Minister Sri Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, is moving forward with perfect planning, sincerity and commitment ever since he took over the reigns of the state six years ago. I have no doubt to state that the forward movement of the state under the leadership of the dynamic CM is yielding good results now she said .
She talked about irrigation water, drinking water and also improved power distribution. She reeled out the facts and figures pertaining to the allocation in the budget and also the spending by the Government side.
She mentioned about the revival of the water tanks and the rise in the groundwater levels in the state of Telangana. The drought areas have turned into greenery she complimented.
She added that the infant state had become a role model to the entire country in many sectors. Recalling the “pathetic” condition of the state at the time it was separated from AP and was “backward” in all sectors.
She praised the Government for providing finance to agriculture and also giving fertilisers apart from seeds. She also mentioned about the Rythu Beema.
