Governor resigns

Governor Tamilisai has resigned to her post. The President has confirmed her resignation. She might come into active politics and contest as an MP.

She was the president of the BJP in Tamilnadu before coming to Telangana as Governor. Puducherry was added to her portfolio. She was in news when she refused to nominate the MLCs of BRS.

Now the recommendations of the Congress are pending before the Governor. She might contest from Chennai Central and a new governor would come into place for Telangana.

She is being offered Pondi seat and also Kanyakumari seat to contest.
