Over the years, NCC has made a significant contribution in shaping the character and developing the leadership qualities among Youth said Governor, Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan here . She said the NCC training camps would help enable youth to become more socially conscious and responsible citizens of tomorrow.
NCC Cadets who returned after representing the State in Republic Day Parade Camp at New Delhi were hosted at Raj Bhavan for the traditional ‘At Home’ with the Governor here on today.
Sri Surendra Mohan, Secretary to Governor, Deputy Director-General, NCC TS & AP, other officers and other senior staff members of the contingent are attended.
While congratulating the participants the Governor said NCC training ensures instil the qualities of leadership, courage, self – confidence and discipline and all the educational institutions should encourage more students to join in NCC.
Over one hundred NCC cadets representing various institutions attended the At Home.
