Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Wednesday made a courtesy call on Hon’ble President Smt Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. He was accompanied by his daughter Smt Vijaya Lakshmi Bandaru.
Hon’ble President Smt Droupadi Murmu inquired about the flood situation in Haryana and the efforts being made to help the affected people.
Haryana Governor Shri Dattatraya informed Hon’ble President Smt Droupadi Murmu that the state government led by Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal adopted a wholesome approach in containing floods and extending every possible help to the needy including farmers and poor people.
He also discussed the various development activities and ongoing welfare works in the state including initiatives and schemes aimed at women’s empowerment.
