It is learnt that some people are trying to stall the release of NOTA the film by Vijay Devarakonda which is scheduled for release on 5th October. There are allegations against the film that it is made for benefitting one particular party in the coming elections.
But Vijay clarified that the film will point out the non-performers and the corrupt people would be exposed and that was not made keeping in mind to benefit any particular party.
Like Arjun Reddy his previous film, NOTA is also turning popular and controversial for Vijay Devarkonda. There was a good response in Vijayawada, where Vijay held a public meeting. The Union Ministers, DGP, Governor and election commission has received letters from various quarters to stop the release of the film on 5th as it would benefit the political party for the coming elections.
They want it to be stopped in Telangana as the elections are being held here. It has to be seen if there would be any review or it will be released as scheduled.
Vijay on his part and the producers openly stated that it has got nothing to do with any political party or the coming elections. it is a general film pointing out bad systems, bad methods and bad politics.
