Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured that the BJP Government is for the welfare of the farmers and that the new laws will not harm their interest at any point in time.
He was speaking in Gujarat to a section of farmers. He said that only some vested interests are going against the laws and trying to instigate farmers against the Government.
The farmers on agitation on the other hand have held a crucial meeting today at Singhu border to intensify the agitation. But the Ministers are ready for talks with the farmer leaders.

They are trying to beat the cool weather with plastic sheets. The Prime Minister and the Home Minister on the other hand are planning to request the likeminded CMs to support the new farming laws.
While KCR the Telangana has opposed the new laws, Jagan Mohan Reddy has been invited by the Home Minister to suggest him to support the new farm laws.
