Hit or flop is a different question. But the movie Kalki is already in news. People are talking about it. Some of them did not like the way the teaser has been presented.
Director Nag Ashwin and Producer Ashwini Dutt are expecting a collection of around one thousand crore.
They have spent around 500 crore for the movie.
Ashwini Dutt who is close to the TDP circles and cine circles has met Pawan Kalyan the Deputy CM over the issue rise in ticket price for Kalki as it has been produced with a big budget.
Pawan and AP Government is bound to agree for the same. Kalki 2898 AD is registering thumping advance bookings across the world. The Hindi version, in particular, is leaving Bollywood trade circles pleasantly surprised.
As of now, the film has collected over Rs 1.50 crore nett from the advance bookings for the Hindi versions at leading multiplexes across the country.
Going by this response, the movie is sure to post a Rs 20 crore nett on its opening day, and the numbers may also go up to Rs 25 crore based on word of mouth after the early morning shows.
There is a talk that the ticket price of the movie Kalki would be around Rs 500. In real terms the ticket price of this mega movie is not affordable to the common and the poor people.
After a weeks time the producer must think of showing the movie to the poor people in general at affordable rates.
