Sri Tulasi Mahatya Utsavam will be observed in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on July 30.
On the auspicious day of Suddha Dwadasi, this festival will be observed.Former TTD Trust Board Member Smt Sudha Narayanamurty has donated a golden Abhisheka Shankam to Tirumala temple on Sunday
She handed over the donation to TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Narayana Murthy the founder of Infosys who is her wife accompanied her to the TTD.
In the morning Sri Govindaraja will take a celestial ride on Garuda Vahanam along the temple streets.
Later Asthanam will be performed where in archakas will recite Tulasi Mahatyam.TTD has cancelled VIP Break darshan on July 17 following Anivara Asthanam in Tirumala temple.
As such no recommendation letters will be entertained on July 16. The devotees are requested to make note of this and co-operate with TTD.
