For the first time, megastar Chiranjeevi attended the annual Dasara fete ‘Alai Bhalai’ hosted by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and his daughter Vijayalakshmi at Exhibition Grounds here on Thursday. Chiranjeevi encouraged participants by dancing along with Dattatreya and beating drums.
Chiranjeevi’s newly released movie Godfather is doing well in Telugu and not doing well in Hindi even after the presence of Bhai Salman Khan.
The Tollywood actor said that he was very disappointed not getting an opportunity to take part in the event organised every year. “My brother Pawan Kalyan and brother-in-law Allu Aravind have already participated in Alai Bhalai much before me,” he recalled.
He was very happy that he could get the opportunity to attend the Alai Bhali meet at the Exhibition Grounds. Chiranjeevi also complimented Garikapati here on this occasion.
Apart from Chiranjeevi, former Maharashtra Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao, senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao, noted Avadhani Garikapati Narasimha Rao, BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao, playback singer and music composer M.M. Srilekha and some other political leaders took part.
