The movie of Vijay just before the elections is for the Tamil audience. It may not work well for the Telugu audience. But it is Ok we can say.
GOAT is a decent one-time watch film for the good first half, Vijay’s terrific performance, Yogi Babu’s comedy sequences in the second half,cameo appearances of Trisha & Sivakarthikeyan and a couple of predictable yet good twists.
It has a good chance of working well in Tamil due to Vijay’s stardom,CSK & Dhoni factor but in Telugu, it is difficult to sustain at the box office after the opening weekend. The music and songs by Yuvan
Shankar Raja are not up to the expectations.
These days songs give life to the movie apart from the music. But Yvan failed to do so. The first half is good and the second half is just Ok. The director could not sustain the movie till the end.
GOAT means Greatness of All Times. The audience are first confused about the title of the movie. Some are thinking about the grass-grazing goats that is animals. But Vijay will get his due in
Tamilnadu and it will run on the OTT also in the near future.
One can just ignore the movie also.
