Former Home Minister and Congress party leader Sabitha Indirareddys son Karthik Reddy did not get the Kutami ticket from Rajendra Nagar. While Sabitha Indira Reddy the mother got the ticket from Maheshwaram, her son did not get it. Karthik said that while some of them got two tickets from the same family, he could not get it. Karthik charged that L Ramana was selling tickets. He has sent in his resignation to Uttam Kumar the PCC chief. It has to be seen if Karthik would be suspended from the party.
There is a lot of resentment in the Congress party and there are 20 rebels in the part so far. Karthik’s father is also former Home Minister Indra Reddy who died in a car accident. Karthik has been nursing the constituency for a long time and he had the chance of winning also. Earlier Karthik contested for Chevella as an MP against Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and lost the election. karthik charged that the leaders have demanded crores of money for giving the Kutami ticket. Karthik is meeting his followers and would decide the future course of action.
