Sachin the cricket god has given away the BMW cars to Olympians, Silver Sindhu for shuttle badminton, Saakshi Malik the wrestler, Deepa Karmakar for Gymnastics, Gopihand for Coaching. The event was held at Gachibowli stadium here in Hyderabad.
Saakshi while thanking Sachin said that she would change bronze into silver in the next olympics.
Deepa karamkar thanked the organisers for honoring her even without a medal.
Gopichand said that it is not like saving the girl child in the country, the girls in fact saved us and the pride of the country at Olympics. Gopi reminded that Nimmagadda Prasad helped for the Academy. There is a lot of help from Chamundeshwar he said.
Gopichands wife has given a gold chain to Sindhu here on the stage. The fans came in large numbers for the meeting and bouncers were used to control the crowd.
Sachin took selfies with the sports persons on the stage. Sachin congrajulated the Olympians for making India proud. We are extremely proud of us and we all will support you Sachin said.The entire nation is jumping with joy and we are looking for a lot to come in the coming years he said. Sachin praised the efforts of Gopichand. Sachin was having knee problem and he climbed the stairs with great difficulty.
While Deepa and Sakshi dressed well for the event, Sindhu dressed as if she was attending a fashion show. It was not suited for the occasion. The upper portion was revealing. Sindhu promised that she will improve further.
