GIC To Plant 3 Crore Saplings in an Hour on July 24, On the Occasion of KTR’s Birthday

The founder of Green India Challenge and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Joginipally Santosh Kumar today released a brochure on Mukkoti Vriksharchana, another great task of planting 3 crore saplings in an hour on July 24 across the state of Telangana. This challenge is being taken up as a part of TRS working committee President and Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana Shri KTR garu’s birthday celebrations.

On this occasion, Shri Santosh Kumar expressed happiness that Green India Challenge is being organized across the state of Telangana and in the country without any disruptions. “KTR garu along with other cadre is committed to the growth of Telangana and is following the path laid by Shri KCR garu. We did Koti Vriksharchana in February on the occasion of KCR garu’s birthday and this is another great attempt to gift to KTR garu as well by planting 3 crore saplings, on his birthday. I appeal everybody to take part in this very inspiring task and do their bit for the environment,” he said.

Green India Challenge on July 4 planted one million saplings in one hour on the occasion of MLA Shri Jogu Ramanna’s 58th birthday in Adilabad district and this has been sent to Guiness Book of World Record to break the existing record of planting 3 lakh, 3 thousand saplings in Turkey in 2019. It also received appreciation certificate from the representatives of Wonder Book of Records for successfully executing the task in Durga Nagar region.

Ministers Shri Mahmood Ali, Shri Jagadish Reddy,Shri Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, Shri Srinivas Goud, MP Shri Keshava Rao, whip balka suman, MLAs gadari kishore, sanampudi saidi reddy, took part in the launch of brochure and lauded the efforts of Shri Joginipally Santosh Kumar for taking Green India Challenge forward with utmost commitment and dedication. MP Shri Keshava Rao congratulated Shri Joginipally Santosh Kumar for coming up with innovative programs and popularizing Green India Challenge around the world.
