Corona is on the rise under the GHMC limits. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has ruled out the possibility of a lockdown in the city.

But the situation is getting worse by the day.

There is every need to enforce the containment zones so that Corona will not spread to other areas.
The GHMC has already listed Chandayangutta, Malakpet, Sherilingampally, Chintal Basti, Golkonda, LB Nagar, Himayat Nagar, Kukatpally, and Jeedimetla as the hotspots for the virus, according to the sources.

Chief Minister KCR and Minister for health Eetela are monitoring the situation from time to time. Minister for Municipal administration K Taraka Rama Rao is also getting a brief on the situation in the state and also about the areas under the GHMC.

It is reported that some of the officials have advised the government to see that the night curfew is clamped so that there will not be any movement of the people during the nights.

People are coming out in the name of having Chai and Dosa during the nights. Some of them are coming to have liquor in the nights. This is encouraging the crowd gathering here and there in the city.

The GHMC officials feel that it would be wise to start the containment zones so that the virus can be arrested from spreading to other areas.
