The Srivari Laddus Ghee contamination will be investigated on the TTD.The officers who deal with the case will be staying in an office on TTD so that they will have access to all other wings of the TTD administration. The Supreme Court decline to order a CBI probe into the issue.

It is a clear cut case that the Ghee used was contaminated and of inferior quality as they purchased it for around 370 per Kg. Pure ghee and the real cow ghee will cost around Rs 1000 per KG.

Determining the purity of the said Ghee is not that easy. Most of the ghee that is sold for lighting Diyas is nothing but the animal fat.

Even in Annavaram contaminated Ghee Tinds were found.

Following a request, TTD allotted an old SVBC office in Bhudevi Complex for use as the team’s operational base. It is equipped with computers, printers and secure spaces for storing records.

The SIT comprises Hyderabad zone CBI joint director Veeresh Prabhu,Visakhapatnam SP Murali Rambha, Guntur Range IG Sarvashresth Tripathi,Visakhapatnam range DIG Gopinath Jetty, and FSSAI expert Satyen Kumar Panda.

Additionally, SIT’s manpower includes five DSPs, eight circle inspectors, two sub-inspectors and ministerial staff.
