Garuda Shivaji who was absconding and avoiding the Telangana police dragnet was arrested today at the Shamshabad airport here while he was fleeing to America. He was wanted in the forgery case pertaining to the shares purchase of TV 9 media.
Former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash and the film star Shivaji were involved in the illegal shares purchase case by way of forgery. Ravi Prakash who was shunted out of the TV9 is already attending the enquiry in Courts and police stations.
While the representatives of Alanda Media the new owners of Tsaid that Raviprakash forged the documents, Raviprakash says that he has been falsely implicated in the case to take away TV 9 from him.
Ravi claimed that he is the founder of the TV9 and that the TV9 logo belongs to him. It is reported that Raviprakash has sold the TV9 logo for a big price.
The Cybercrime police have taken Shivai into police custody early in the morning at the Hyderabad international airport. The police gave him notices and suggested him to attend for the investigation on 11nth of this month.
Shivaji was asked to explain his stand on the forgery case and his association with the former CEO of the TV9. Shivaji surfaced after a long time and has gone underground all these days.
