TTD has rolled out extensive arrangements for devotees’ service on Garuda Seva day on September 22.
The Mada streets had a capacity to accommodate nearly two lakh devotees. TTD intends to provide Srivari Vahana Darshan to crowds waiting on inner ring roads and Outer Ring Road through Supatham, Southeast corner, Govinda Nilayam, North West gate, North East gate into the Mada streets.
TTD is beginning the Vahana at 7.00 pm and last till 02.00 hours the next day and appealed to all devotees to patiently comply with security restrictions.
Similarly, the Anna Prasadam will be served at the Matrusri Vengamamba Anna Prasadam Bhavan from 8.00 am to 01.00 hours midnight and distribute varieties of mixed rices at regular intervals in galleries.
Besides 2.5 lakh packets of buttermilk are readied and nearly 747 sanitisation workers were deputed to clean Mada streets, galleries, rest houses, toilets for Garuda Seva day. 524 drinking water drums kept and 1500 srivari Sevakulu deployed on Mada streets.
Among others, 1130 TTD vigilance staff, 3600 policemen and another 1200 are deployed on Garuda Seva day, 2770 CCTV cameras vigil the activities. Plying of two-wheelers banned on ghat roads from 6pm of 21 till 6am of 23.
Parking facilities were created at old Alipiri. Checkpoint and RTC buses to run 3000 trips. Four Mobile battery vehicle clinics, seven ambulances, doctors and paramedics also organised.TTD has also installed 20 huge LED screens all around Mada streets, SV Museum, Varahaswamy Rest house Annadanam complex Rambagicha rest house etc.
