The BJP is observing the oath-taking day of the JDS leader Kumara Swamy as a protest day while the opposition is ganging up against the BJP and PM Modi here in Karnataka for the first time. LOP Rahul Gandhi will be attending the swearing-in.
More than a dozen leaders from the opposition will be coming together in the name of swearing in and they would chalk out the future strategy in the name of the federal front against the BJP.
There is a chance that the TS chief Minister KCR will be cajoled to work out the strategy against the BJP along with the Congress party and that the Congress cannot be separated from the gang.
When it comes to the VIP list-Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao, former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Bihar leader Lalu Yadav’s son Tejashwi Yadav, Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Ajit Singh, DMK chief MK Stalin, actor-politician Kamal Haasan and ally Dalit leader Mayawati.
The very fact that the Congress climbed a step-down and gave the power to JDS itself speaks volumes that Rahul wants to take head-on with the BJP. He is ready to sacrifice for pulling down Modi and his NDA government at any cost.
I had a warm and cordial meeting this evening, in Delhi, with Shri H D Kumaraswamy ji. We discussed the political situation in Karnataka and other matters of mutual interest. I will be attending his swearing in as CM of Karnataka, on Wednesday, in Bengaluru. pic.twitter.com/sZAwX8mQut
