The Ganesh Nimajjan process is still continuing on the Tankbund. The city police had a sigh of relief as the main nimajjan process has been completed by this morning. The Main idol that is Khairatabad Ganesh has been immersed in the lake waters by noon.
Still, hundreds of Ganesh idols are lined up for the Nimajjan process on Tankbund for the second day. The main procession reached the Tankbund by noon yesterday and that delayed the whole Nimajjan process.
Overall it was a peaceful procession with Band Baja baarat. Some people distributed food to the pilgrims who have come to see the procession. Lakhs of people came to go Tankbund to see the Nimajjan process and also the Shoba yatra. Himachal Governor Bandaru Dattatreya was also there at the Mojamjahi market here in Hyderabad. He came all the way from Himachal Pradesh for the Shoba yatra.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat specially came to Hyderabad for the Shoba Yatra but did not make any political speeches, he just talked about God Bhakti and the country. He met Dattatreya also here at the Majamjahi market.
The immersion process might continue until this evening. One side of the Necklace road in front of the state Secretariat is left for the Ganehshas here. Still, some of the cranes are functioning on either side of the tank bund for the immersion process.
