Former Minister and Mining Baron Gali Janardhan along with his aide were arrested in the Ponzi scam case. Earlier there were rumours that Gali has gone underground to evade arrest. There was intense questioning done by the police it is reported. Along with Gali his close aide Ali Khan was also questioned for hours together according to the police.
However Reddy claimed that his arrest and questioning was part of a political conspiracy. The police were looking out for him in the Ponzi scam case. The issue is about a 20 crore deal done by Ali khan which is also related to an ED case.
Gali who was in Jail for some time relating to Mining cases was out on Bail. Later he was news and questioned by the police after a lavish marriage was done at his home. Now he was arrested by the police again and questioned in connection with the Pozi scam case.
