The power tussle between the Shivsena and BJP is continuing. Maharashtra Chief Minister Fadnavis has met RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat. Shiv Sena has tried with Pawar and Sonia in different ways, but it did not materialise.
Now the NCP has come forward for power-sharing with Shiv Sena. The latest is that Nitin Gadkari the Union Minister for Transport has been designated by the BJP to resolve the issue.
Nitin Gadkari will be coming to Mumbai to negotiate with the Sena leaders. It looks like the BJP might agree for the 50/50 power-sharing concept.
The opposition is yet to believe that the RSS and the BJP are thinking in a different manner. Congress believes that the BJP and Sena are one and that is the reason, Sonia refused to take the bait from Pawar for Sena.
Sena is not in a position where it can dictate terms to PM Modi the BJP chief Amit Shah who is also the Minister for Home. But the leaders want the 50/50 power-sharing concept to be implemented.
The BJP leaders are of the opinion that they must rule the state as they are the single largest party in Maharashtra. But the NCP and the Congress have decided to stay out of the BJP and the ShivSena power tussle.
Since October 24 the impasse has been continuing between the BJP and Sena. While the Sena is still arguing for the power-sharing, the BJP has made it very clear that they will not share the power with Sena. They are not prepared to give the CMs seat to Sena.
It is reported that the Sena leaders have written to the RSS to intervene in the process of power-sharing and resolve the issue at the earliest. Now Union Minister Fadnavis has stepped in to negotiate with the Sena leaders.
