The Traffic is going up by the day in Hyderabad said KT Rama Rao the Minister for Municipal administration. The works in Uppal will be completed at the earliest. Even KCR the CM praised the efforts of Union Minister Gadkari. The National Highways have developed in a double manner in this Government he said.

KTR has requested for four laning of several roads in the state. The minister has also requested for a fund of around Rs 1000 crore. He cited the examples where Hyderabad was ranked as the best. 54 junctions are being developed in Hyderabad and 18 works have already been launched KTR told the Minister.

The transport facilities and the road network is being developed the minister added. Rs 3000 crores work is going on and another 4000 crore works will be grounded KTR said. Metro rail network is being expanded and we need multimodel network said KTR.

Inland waterways are also required for Telangana KTR suggested. Rs 2000 crore needed for waterways development he said.

Two more elevated corridors are being done KTR stated. He sought the intervention of Gadkari for these corridors in solving the land issue with the defence permission.

Union Minister Gadkari today launched the development works in Uppal constituency. He said that the road from ORR to Medak will be expanded soon. Minsters Tummala Nageshwar Rao, KT Rama Rao, Srinivas Yadav and local MLA NVS Prabhakar Rao were present here for the occasion. They launched the works of Amberpet flyover.

Amberpet MLA Kishan Reddy said that after much persuasion these works were sanctioned by the centre. He said that both BJP and TRS leaders were able to convince the centre over the development works in Malkajgiri, Amberpet and Uppal areas.

This will help in easing the traffic congestion to a larger extent. MP Bandaru Dattatreya, Deputy CM Mahmood Ali also graced the occasion.

NVS Prabhakar thanked the central minister Gadkari for taking up the development works in Uppal. About 1400 crore is being spent for this Uppal corridor with both state and central government put together. The road from Aramghar to Shamshabad is also getting ready for expansion. Basic infrastructure should be developed for development of state said Bandaru Dattatreya the MP from Secunderabad.
