The singer who conquered the hearts of Telugu people with his songs, could not conquer the politics. He remained a catalyst for various political parties but could not win on his own.

Gaddar on June 21 this year announced to float a new party named Gaddar Praja Party and said he will contest the upcoming Assembly polls. K.A. Paul announced the expulsion of Gaddar from his party the next day.
However, on July 2, he was suddenly seen at a public meeting held by Congress in Khammam, which was addressed by Rahul Gandhi. This was Gaddar’s last public appearance in a political meeting. He fell sick later and was confined to his home.
Gaddar died yesterday at 75. All the leaders loved him and gave him space. The recent meeting was a hug with Rahul and Pawan Kalyan. Today his funeral will take place on the school ground near his house.
CM KCR has ordered a state funeral to Gaddar. CM will be attending the funeral of Gaddar and paying his last respects this afternoon. His mortal remains will be taken in a procession from LB stadium to his own school.
