The MSK Prasad-led national selection committee gave the big breakthrough to Hyderabad’s young fast bowler Mohammad Siraj by naming him in the Indian T20 team in the ongoing series against the visiting New Zealand.
It was a just reward for the 23-year-old fast bowler’s hard work. Ever since he had a wonderful Ranji Trophy season last year when he emerged as the third highest wicket-taker in the country with 41 wickets, Siraj has been on the rise.
The fast bowler then got a big boost to his career when Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) took him with a whopping Rs 2.6 crore for the IPL T20. In fact, he became an overnight hero.
