Mohammed Mahmood Ali has taken over as the new Home Minister today at the state Secretariat. The charge was handed over by the former Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy here. DGP Mahendar Reddy and other police were present here during the taking over of Mahmood Ali. Talking here on the occasion here Mahmood Ali said that the idea would be to maintain the law and order with friendly policing.
He said that the same tradition like earlier times would be continued and the people will see the friendly policing he stated. Mahmood Ali was the only Minister who was sworn in by Governor Narasimhan after the TRS came to power again in Telangana. Mahmood Ali was the revenue minister and now he has been elevated as the Home Minister.
Mahmood Ali is a trusted man for KCR and always remained loyal in a low profile manner.
