The Congress party with over a hundred years of history is almost becoming zero in the Telugu states. With a dozen Congress MLAs shifting over to TRS, now they have got only 6 MLAs in the Telangana Assembly. The MIM which is the friendly party to TRS, and has been supporting from the beginning has 7 MLAs. That is one more than the Congress party. Akbaruddin Owaisi the MIM floor leader in the Telangana Assembly is all set to become the leader of the opposition in the Assembly. With MIM having 7 MLAs, the Speaker Pocharam will have to consider Akbaruddin Owaisi as the LOP in the house. Asaduddin Owasisi the Hyderabad MP and Chief of AIMIM has suggested that the speaker must consider Akbar as the leader of the opposition in the Assembly.
MIM will become the main opposition in the state of Telangana, but it will continue to support the TRS party. It may be noted that the TRS chief and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has been doing a lot for the Minorities in the state. KCR has been giving whatever the MIM suggests for the development of the old city and also the minorities in particular in the state. The Minorities have also been supporting the TRS overwhelmingly. The allocations are also being done for the minorities in a big way in Telangana.After winning the elections in a one-sided manner, now the TRS leaders will have no opposition in the Assembly and they can pass the bills and move the motions one-sided. There will be none to question them.
