A Siddha preacher from Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu has predicted that elections are around the corner in Tamil Nadu following turmoil in AIADMK.
M Govindaraj, who claims that he has the blessings of a mystic called Sivasiddhar, and for whom a temple exists at Punjaiyur village near Keerakalur in Thiruthuraipoondi taluk in Tiruvarur district, predicted that elections would soon take place in the state.
He told media persons in Thanjavur, that in the upcoming elections, Deepa Jayakumar, niece of late CM Jayalalithaa, will emerge the key player, and that a Deepa-Panneerselvam combine will win the polls hands down.
“My spiritual contact with Sivasiddhar says that the “spirit” of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and her blessings are with Deepa, and this will do good for Tamil Nadu” Govindaraj said.
When asked about the claim of AIADMK general secretary Sasikala that majority of MLAs are with her, Govindaraj said that it will not work.
“Athishtam is “Athu Ishtam” (Luck will take its own course) and right now, fortune favours Deepa and Panneerselvam,” Govindaraj said.
He cited examples to drive home his point. “When MK Alagiri, elder son of M Karunanidhi was removed from DMK initially, visited the Sivasiddhar temple and worshipped Sivasidhar.
After his visit to the temple, he was re-admitted into the party and he got the south zone secretary’s post” Govindaraj said.
Similarly for the last Tamil Nadu election, I predicted that AIADMK will get 130 seats, DMK 88, BJP 7, Makkal Nala Kootani five and PMK four. “This turned out to be almost exactly true,” he said.
“I sent this prediction in an e-mail to BJP leader and Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan in an e-mail on May 14,” Govindaraj said and showed a copy of the e-mail to media persons.
