With the resignation of the 11 EC members and others from the Prakash Raj panel, it has become a one sided committee for Manchu Vishnu who is yet to take over MAA on an official basis.
The Prakash Raj panel has alleged that a lot of malpractices have occurred in the MAA election. The election officer has taken away the ballots to home and rigged them on the second day some members alleged.
The election officers cannot take the ballot boxes to the home and that is illegal.
If the new members cannot be nominated then we have to go for fresh polls after six months. It is reported that Mohan Babu the father of the New President is also very unhappy with the allegations that he is facing.
Mohan Babu and Vishnu along with the other elected members are in discussions as to how they should go forward in this kind of situation. Earlier the winners and losers used to come together as a panel then went ahead with the development works.
Now the winners from the losing side have resigned they do not know how to go forward. This is the first time in the history of MAA that the elected members from the other side have resigned.
There is a talk that both the panels are seeking legal options over the election.
