K Chandrasekhar Rao the Telangana CM said that more food processing unit would come for the storage of the produce he said. This will take some time he explained. We can store and get the remunerative price KCR said. Our farmers will become rich in the process and it is possible he stated.
Unitedly we achieved Telangana and we can make our farmers also rich he said. The farmers are confident now and one has to move forward he said. Now the farmer has to strive for the development in their respective areas and the government help them he said.
He was speaking at the function of Rythu Bheema here in Hyderabad and where the LIC chairman also participated and signed the MOU with the Telangana State Government. KCR complimented the Minister for agriculture Pocharama Srinivas Reddy for implementing various schemes for the farming community here in Telangana.
He said that there was no power issue, no money problem and no water problem and now the farmer must strive to become self-reliant he suggested.
Unitedly the farming community must dictate the remunerative price he said. Crop colonies should be formed and that all the farmers should not go for a single crop and that would reduce the demand he pointed out. The farmer should be able to say proudly that he is doing agriculture he suggested.
