The State Government has made all the arrangements for the distribution of the popular fish medicine. The exhibition Grounds at Nampally is being spruced up for the counter of fish medicine which is taken against Asthma. Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Chief Secretary Joshi are supervising the arrangements. Lakhs of people with Asthma come here every year in June first week for the famous fish medicine given by Bathini brother from the old city.
While there is no scientific evidence to prove the efficacy of the medicine, people have a lot of faith in this medicine. People from outstations also abroad come to take this medicine and is supported by the state government.
The yellow medicine is kept in the mouth of small fish and is administered live into the mouth of the patient. The medicine is distributed from the early hours of June 8th and it continues for a day or two depending upon the rush. Police are making bundobust arrangements for the same and hundreds of volunteers are being drafted for the purpose.
The CM KCR has instructed the officials to see that there is no problem in distributing of the popular fish Medicine. The medicine was being given free by the Bathinni brothers since last several years and they have not revealed to the formula of the medicine to anyone so far. Only the family members knew about the ingredients and herbs used in this medicine.
