The first State Cabinet meeting at the new Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat will be chaired by CM KCR today.
The Cabinet meeting, to be held from 3 pm, is expected to discuss the preparations for the celebrations of the Telangana State Formation Day and other issues.
Earlier all the cabinet meetings were held at Pragathi Bhavan. The Cabinet will discuss the issues of the farmers and also the issue of spurious seeds.
There could be a press briefing also in the secretariat for the first time. It could be at the media center by one of the Ministers.
CM’s chief advisor Somesh Kumar is also expected to participate in the cabinet meeting. The Ministers have started operating from the chambers of the secretariat and they have to just walk into the conference hall for the said cabinet meeting.
The cabinet will discuss the bills that are pending with the Governor and also the preparedness for the coming elections in December.
