Films are like powerful drugs said Markandey Katju. He explained in detail via a tweet as to why he said that there was notihng in the head of Big B. He tried to justify himself for which Amitabh also agreed.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan told the press on Monday that his head is “khallaas,” which means finished but presumably could be taken to mean empty. The 73-year-old actor was responding to Justice Markandey Katju’s tweet in which he said Mr Bachchan had ‘nothing in his head.’

Mr Bachchan told in Mumbai, “Justice Katju is right. I really don’t have anything inside my head. We can be a part of what is going on and work towards it. But he is right. My head is ‘khallaas’ (finished).”

Justice Markandey

Justice Katju, a most unfiltered person, caused something of an uproar last weekend with this tweet:
Turns out that the former Supreme Court judge, 69, went to the same school in Allahabad as Amitabh Bachchan, before the actor moved on to Sherwood College in Nainital.

This is not the first time that Katju has reacted in an indifferent manner. There are several instances of this kind, but he has his own argument and reasoning for the same.

When asked if Justice Katju’s tweets could be the result of an old rivalry, Mr Bachchan said, “There is no rivalry between us. I will have to fold my hands and stand before him. He is a judge.”

Amitabh Bachchan was speaking to the press as part of publicity duty for his new film Pink. Produced by his Piku director Shoojit Sircar, Pinkis a gritty courtroom drama that examines the consequences of sexual assault.

The film released last week to great acclaim. Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a lawyer, was singled out for praise – by everyone except Justice Katju.
