The Film workers have started striking work here in Tollywood while Dil Raju is on a holiday at the universal studios with his daughter and grandchildren.
He is one of the top producers doing many movies and he needs a lot of manpower. More than half a dozen of his movies are under production and they could be in trouble due to strike by the workers.
There is a talk in the film industry that ever since Raju came into the field as a producer there have been many restrictions on the workers and they were being exploited.
There are many directors who have worked with him as monthly salaried persons. He used to pay for one language to the director for the story and direction and then sell it in many languages and not share the profits with the story writer.
There is a talk that Dil Raju will take part in the wage revision for the cine workers from the producer’s side. He will definitely put his leg down and see that the hike is just minimal.
In fact, many producers are talking about the loss that they have to take during the Corona period. But all said and done the revision must take place.
The workers are facing inflation after Corona and they are unable to meet both ends. There is also a talk that the heroes and the directors are aking the major chunk of profits these days and the producers are also in trouble.
RRR movie is the latest example where the Producer could not make much of the profits.
